Hello,

I’m Schell Clancy (Accredited and Registered Hatha Yoga teacher) welcoming you to the expansiveness of Yoga as a life and style choice.

At any time you need or wish, I’m here to open up the philosophy and the science behind the eight limbs of yoga to allow you to work with the teachings of traditional hatha yoga and the post - modern teachings of restorative and yin yoga.

Feeling a little or a lot of anxiousness? Not sleeping well? Feeling exhaustion and maybe observing the negative talk to, and of, the self and others? Feeling discomfort in the body, in your mood and thoughts, in your life/style?

I’m here to introduce you to specific pranayams (breath techniques) to help calm us, changing how we use our brain ( Van Der Kolk, B (2014)) and bringing us to clarity.

There are asanas (postures) to ease our digestive system, release holding points or discomfort in the body, and that allow us to release stored discomfort in both body and mind.

With the focused teachings of  hatha, yin and restorative practice, we are able to enter into stillness of the body and the brain.

The Eight Limbs


The Eight Limbs are from where the core structure of learning, practising and developing the depth of Hatha Yoga emerges.

Classes are 90 minutes in duration which allows the physical body to recalibrate, and to calm the central nervous system.

This is vital to ensure the deeper benefits of Hatha Yoga are experienced -

  • a longer outward breath

  • softness and lengthening of the connective tissue

  • higher uptake of serotonin to the brain

  • a calmer thought pattern

  • reconnection to the inner self

These are just a few of the researched benefits of Hatha Yoga.

You may be able to take time out to immerse yourself in the calm healing grounds of Wonga Beach, where the rainforest meets the reef -experience a 4 Night Healing Getaway at Daintree Beach Studio.

You may like to travel with a group of friends or family to experience tropical healing at The Artists Beach House for a 4 Day Yogic Lifestyle Retreat.

I also offer an online One To One Session where we work together to create a specific and targeted Yogic Lifestyle Plan to ease and rebalance your body, breath, mind and energy.
